  • Maintain a safe, clean work environment; address any unsafe conditions or behaviors with a supervisor
  • Work closely with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Suppliers in developing DFMEA and PFMEA, and APQP activities
  • Promote Retrax Quality Standards internally and externally to ensure compliance
  • Maintain Quality records, forms, and documentation in accordance with Retrax Quality systems and processes
  • Manage and oversee problem solving exercises, including material containment, corrective actions, root cause problem solving, verification of effectiveness, and lessons learned
  • Participate in re-sourcing activities, including part qualification, evaluation of new supplier, facilitation and approval of new PPAP documentation
  • Responsible for incoming product quality and material verification
  • Work in conjunction with design engineers to qualify First Article Material and perform PPAP qualification if applicable
  • Work with Supply Chain Manager to improve supplier processes, controls, and metrics in an effort to lower external PPMs
  • Collaboratively maintain Supplier scorecard with Supply Chain
  • Maintain and update critical supplier audit system and schedule
  • Inspire, motivate, and lead others in utilizing Lean manufacturing tools to deliver results
  • Organize materials at work station and department according to 6S standards
  • Perform other related or non-related duties as assigned through on-the-job training


  • B.S. in Engineering field
  • Minimum two years work experience in Supplier Quality, Quality, Engineering, or Manufacturing related field. Lean or similar continuous improvement experience preferred.
  • Software experience: Software Experience: 3-D CAD (Solid Works), ERP Software, and Microsoft Office Suite

Physical Requirements:

  • Occasional lifting of 50 pounds or less, occasional lifting of 51 pounds or more
  • Sitting throughout the duration of shift, daily
  • Repetitive use of hands and/or fingers; able to reach with hands and arms; and use of vision
